MiSEN is working closely with the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators (MAISA) and the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) to close the gap in rural unserved and underserved areas for all Michigan students and teachers.
The Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators (MAISA) 2024 Consolidated Grants Project Charter outlines a comprehensive initiative led by the Michigan Association of Intermediate School Administrators (MAISA) to coordinate various grant-funded feasibility studies under Section 388.1611x of the 2023-24 State School Aid Act. These studies explore the potential for consolidating services and infrastructure across Michigan's Intermediate School Districts (ISDs) and local school districts. This initiative is a strategic effort to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery within the state's educational system. The charter delineates the MiSEN project of completing the connectivity of all schools in Michigan to the State Network (MiSEN Remaining Connectivity).
